Prugnolo Gentile is an ancient grape variety generally considered to be a Sangiovese biotype. La Spinetta has decided to vinify this variety in purity to enhance its peculiarities.

Ageing	Malolactic fermentation is carried out in second and third passage French oak vats followed by subsequent ageing for about 24 months. Maturation in the bottle for about 6 months.
