Krug Rosé is a relatively recent addition to the House of Krug’s repertoire, with the first Edition composed around the 1976 harvest, and presented to the world in 1983. Current cellar master Eric Lebel, said: “The creation of Krug Rosé always feels like a new step on a journey of discovery as I seek to create an unexpected rosé Champagne associating distinction and boldness.

Perlage

Cordon of fine bubbles.

Colour

At first sight, its subtle pale pink colour holds a promise of elegance.

Bouquet

On the nose, aromas of rose hips, cured ham, mulberries, redcurrant, peony, pepper and pink grapefruit.

Flavour

On the palate, delicate flavours of honey, citrus and dried fruit with a long finish, enhanced by its fine bubbles complete the experience.

Pairing

It can be enjoyed with fois gras, lamb, game, white meat, venison or even dishes with spices. It is not recommended for desserts, unless they are not sweet at all.
