Jouard Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeot Les Fairendes Vieilles Vignes 2018
The only vines that go into the Vincent & Francois Jouard estate bottlings are old vines (over 50 years). The Vieilles Vignes wines are aged using 1/3 new oak from the best barrel-makers.

Colour

The visual examination shows a golden yellow hue.

Bouquet

The olfactory spectrum is structured around notes of fruit with white pulp, citrus and vanilla, and then turns towards more mineral nuances.

Flavour

In the mouth it is full-bodied, generous, well-balanced. It closes with a long finish.

Pairing

Very versatile from a gastronomic point of view, it goes well with either main courses of white meat and fish, or with scallop based appetizers. It gives its best with a good fillet of salmon trout with almonds.
