Inama Sauvignon Vulcaia Fumé 2018
The idea, as already with the Vulcaia Sauvignon, is to show value of the Soave the territory, not yet with its Classic wine, but with an interpretation of the Sauvignon. This version, made from a super-selection of grapes, is fermented in oak, and we call it Vulcaia Fumé. Since the start, there’s been a great interest because of its opulence and its powerful characteristic of tropical fruit, coffee, citrus and floral notes. Interpretation of the Sauvignon on volcanic soil, in the Soave Classico area. Production transcends the styles and trends of the moment. No competitors: UNIQUE WINE IN ITS CATEGORY, THERE ARE NO SIMILAR WINES.

Bouquet

Nose of roasted coffee with hints of oak and tropical fruits.

Flavour

Great fruit concentration with grapefruit, pineapple, passion fruit and citrus. Strong and persistent finish of all the flavours.

Pairing

Smoked fishes such herring and salmon. Also good with caviar, bottarga and roasted liver.

Harvest By hand.
Vinification Destalking and crushing are followed by skin contact for about 3 hours. After the grapes are pressed the must is allowed to settle for 12 hours at cold temperature. Alcoholic fermentation followed by malolactic fermentation takes place in 30% new barriques made from heavy toasted wood. Prior to racking, batonnage is carried out every 6 weeks for about 7 months.
Ageing 6 months in stainless steel vats, ltration, through a coarse lter (without ning) occurs prior to bottling.
