Domaine Mussy Cote de Beaune 1er cru Epenotes 2014
This Beaune 1er Cru Les Epenottes comes from a magnificent plot of Domaine Mussy adjoining the appellation Pommard. This proximity of clay-limestone soil is reminiscent of the vigor of Pommard. A tannic appearance identical to the famous Bourguignon wine, but with more feminine notes, a more silky and more fruity structure.

As with all Domaine Mussy productions, Pinot Noir grapes are harvested by hand, followed by sorted and fully destalked logs. This Beaune 1er Cru is aged 12 to 16 months in old oak barrels.
Its color is bright and strong, the nose has cherry accords. The palate is structured with a lingering and very fruity note on the finish.
