The Coltassala has a vivid ruby color. This is a well-structured, complex wine with an elegant nose and hints of vanilla, cacao and fruit.

Ruby red with garnet nuances.

Bouquet

It displays elegant scents of violet and iris, cherry, strawberry tree, tones of citrus and spicy spices, mentholated tobacco and resin.

Flavour

The taste is complex, vibrant in its freshness, distinct in its noble and well extracted phenolic mass. Noteworthy is the persistence.

Harvest The grapes were all harvested by hand and collected in boxes.
Vinification After harvest grapes were destalked and very lightly crushed. Under constantly controlled temperatures the grapes macerated in ideal conditions. The grapes first fermented in their own yeast at temperatures between 80 and 86°F for 14 days. During this phase, they were automatically punched down twice a day to draw out their finest qualities. After macerating on their skins for a further 10 days, the malolactic fermentation started.
Ageing 18 months in new French oak.
