Capezzana Carmignano Trefiano Riserva 2015
The sixteenth century Villa di Trefiano, built for the noble Florentine family the Rucellai by the famous architect Buontalenti, is an impressive example of Renaissance architecture. A select few hectares of land surrounding the villa benefit from ideal characteristics and exposure, allowing for the creation of a particularly elegant and velvety Carmignano. The Trefiano D.O.C.G. is made from a blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet and Canaiolo. The wine is aged in tonneaux for 16 months and for a further year in bottle.

Bouquet

Ample, elegant, refined, sweet and fruity with spicy aroma.

Flavour

Soft, firm, fat with dense and sweet tannins, well balanced acidity in harmony with both texture and body. Long and persistent finish, fruity with small red fruits and spicy tones.

Pairing

Recommended with both red and white meats as well as most types of cheese.
