Aldo Conterno Barbera d'Alba Conca Tre Pile 2016

La Conca Tre Pile is a hillside vineyard in the Bussia Soprana mainly Barbera vineyards aged up to 45 years. What ensues is a red wine of great quality, long and velvety, rich in facets.

Colour

Dark ruby red.

Bouquet

The nose reveals clear fruity notes of cherry and blackberry, enriched with spicy notes of vanilla and liquorice.

Flavour

In the mouth is long and smooth, perfectly balanced by a light tannins that counteracts the natural acidity. Long, it closed on the fruit.

Fermentation temperature	26 - 28 °C.
Vinification	In red with maceration on the skins in stainless steel tanks. The must remains on the skins for 8-10 days, after which drawn off and ends the alcoholic fermentation.
Ageing	The new wine spends a few months in stainless steel tanks with different racking, you then put in oak barrels where it remains for a period of 12 months and then it is bottled.
