
The winery Villa Raiano was born from an ambitious project of the family Basso, that has always trusted in such an extraordinary area as Irpinia, the sub-region in Campania, South Italy. The winery was built in a small block named Raiano, built on a rocky hill, where it has been located for thirteen years. Then, after a constant growth, the new winery has been built in the town of San Michele di Serino, on the top of a hill at about 600 mt above sea level. Villa Raiano has a production of wines only from native grapes, Greco di Tufo, Fiano di Avellino, Aglianico di Taurasi and Falanghina, whose wine making process aims to the safeguard of the vines and terroir.
Everyone at Villa Raiano cares about environment and vineyards, focusing all efforts in the whole wine making process.
