Regio Cantina (Tenute Piccini)

Regio Cantina is nestled among the volcanic hills at the foot of Mount Vulture, an evocative passage located on the edge of the ancient Lucanian town of Venosa, in the north-eastern part of Basilicata. The territory of the small denomination "Aglianico del Vulture DOC" in perfect harmony with the typical vine whose name it bears - Aglianico - is a clear example of the combination of a vine - a territory, a concept that lies at the heart of the company's philosophy.

The winery owns 15 hectares of vineyards located 380 metres above sea level, which enjoy favourable exposure that, combined with the lava nature of the soil, impart extremely distinctive mineral and spicy characteristics. The grapes come from four different plots, planted exclusively with Aglianico vines aged between 15 and 20 years, in an organic regime.
