It was love at first sight when Marie-Geneviève and Norbert Molozay discovered the Chateau Vaux in September 1999, as they saw "extraordinary potential" in the vineyard ideally located in the hills of Vaux, Jussy, Lessy and Vic-sur-Seille offering a complete palette of soils and grape varietes.
"There is also a past to relive; it's a true calling". At that time. the Moselle vineyards were spread over 39 hectars (96 acres), five and half of wich belonged to the Chateau de Vaux. Consolidation of the parcel ensued, the vineyard grew, agricultural techniques evolved, winemaking methods were transformed and the cellars were restored. They have applied their combined experience to giving a new soul to the wines of the Chateau de Vaux.
