Barbier Louvet

Tauxieres Mutry, a 99% territory classified as "Premier Cru", is the village where the Maison Champagne Barbier-Louvet Father and Sons has been established for about 6 generations. Our village of 240 inhabitants, dedicated to agriculture and viticulture, is located in the heart of the Champenois vineyards, 15 km from Epernay and 20 km south of Reims.

Our crops are located on the southern slope of the Reims mountain range, in the "Côte de Noir". Owners of our vineyards from father to son, our Champagne are processed starting from the bunches coming exclusively from our crops. They cover 9 municipalities with different qualities of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay strains.

All the viticultural and winery passages are carried out directly, and in particular the assembly of the grapes. This guarantees an exceptional quality guarantee. Our wines always have an aging of at least 3 years in the cellar, and are processed in the purest tradition Champenois and, for some time, we ensure the traceability of the vineyard of origin and the grapes.
