Since the 13th Century, this high quality vineyard of the village Rauen-thal belongs to Kloster Eberbach. During the following centuries the area expanded by specific acquisition and barter. The name “Baiken” developed from the German word “Biegen“, which means “to bend” as the vineyard lies in a bended area. |
