Soil composition	Marine sedimentary origin, with sedimentary calcareous-clay marl and alternating layers of marl and sand or sandstone.
Vinification	Harvesting is followed by alcoholic fermentation, with maceration on skins for about 20 days. Malolactic fermentation takes place in steel.
Ageing	In small oak barrels for 24 months followed by a further 12 months in the bottle before marketing.
