One of the company's most iconic wines could only take its name from the village of Liano, now surrounded by the company's vineyards. Between Umberto Cesari and the hill of Liano, it was love at first sight back in the early 1960s. Umberto Cesari's intuition was to start everything right here, deciding to plant Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon from day one, which gave rise to Liano.

Ruby red with garnet reflections.

Ample, with hints of ripe red fruit and black cherry jam.

A soft and elegant wine with long intensity. Pleasant, harmonious and balanced tannin. A wine of great character.
