Tenuta Moraia is located in Maremma, along the coast in Tuscany, in the province of Grosseto. The Maremma, from the Latin 'maritima' or 'belonging to the sea', covers an area that roughly belongs to the coastal province of Grosseto. The unspoilt beauty of the area has earned it the reputation as the 'wild frontier' of Tuscany.
Purchased in 2000 by the Piccini family, the estate covers 160 hectares of land, 60 of which are planted with vines.
