Taittinger Champagne Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs Comtes de Champagne 2012
This champagne is the perfect expression of the Company's style, a rare Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs, which expresses excellent care and attention. A wine which follows strict production criteria that result in low-production volumes. Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs is made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes grown in the five villages of the Côte des Blancs, classified as Grands Crus: Avize, Chouilly, Cramant, Mesnilsur-Oger, and Oger.

Perlage

Fine and delicate.

Colour

Golden with greenish reflections.

Bouquet

Fine and delicate, in combination with white flowers and a slight minerality with light notes of pear and sultanas, finishing with hints of aniseed.

Flavour

Vibrant, with a combination of lemon and saltiness. A sensation of complexity immediately follows this, yet mellow freshness creates the perfect balance between ripeness and a full-rounded flavour. It has a long-lasting, crisp finish with hints of salted butter.

Pairing

It is the best Champagne for an exceptional celebration. It pairs with seafood starters, shellfish or fish.
