When Nathan Gottesdiener and Massimo Ruggero landed in Lugosanto, near Olbia, they found themselves immersed in a forest dotted with rural churches, small settlements from the Nuragic period and shrubs of myrtle, arbutus and broom.
Seduced by the place's charm, the two partners decided that this would be the perfect place to pursue their wine project. The ancient structures were recovered, and the project of a modern underground cellar, which has the forest as its roof, slowly came to life. The first 12 hectares planted with Vermentino were joined by Cannonau, Cangulari, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese grapes until reaching the current 37 hectares.
The turning point is the arrival in the cellar of Dino Dini, a wine expert and student of Giacomo Tachis and Riccardo Cotarella. In 2012, the first harvest finally arrived. Each of the 7 wines that resulted was given a name linked to the ancient Gallurese dialect: Spèra "beam of light", Maìa "magic", Fòla "fairy tale", or even to Etruscan such as Bèru "noble", Érema "small plant", and Tìros "wine". For this vintage, Maìa and Tìros aged in cellar but taste an excellent Limited Edition of Erema, in which Cannonau leaves Cagnulari and embraces Cabernet Sauvignon.
In 2021, Nuali was awarded Italy's best sweet wine by Mundus Vini at the 28th Grand International Wine Award - Meininger 2021.
In 2021, Wine Spectator reviewed the Spèra 2019 and awarded it 90 points. The review is by Alison Napjus (Tasting Director): 'A texture of fragrant ground spice winds through finely woven flavours of tropical fruit in this slender, light white, while a subtle undertow of salty mineral leads to a luscious finish. So elegant. Drink now and until 2025'.
In 2021, Nùali (2018 vintage) received another important accolade by winning gold medals in the 'Feminalise' World Wine Competition. The Feminalise World Wine Competition is a unique concept: all world wines are tasted exclusively by wine professionals. Every year in Paris, more than 600 female wine tasters from all over the world participate in the competition, founded in 2005.

Siddùra was named 'Winery of the Year - Gran Vinitaly 2021' by Vinitaly 2021. The special prize 'Gran Vinitaly 2021') is awarded to the producer with the best result referring to the sum of the scores of the first three best wines from at least two different categories selected for inclusion in the guide "5StarWines - the Book 2022".

At the Concorso Rosati Rosé 2021 (National Wine Competition), Nudo 2020 was awarded 4 roses and 91 points.

Maìa, Vermentino di Gallura DOCG Superiore 2020, a pearl of wine production, won the 5 Grappoli of the Guide Bibenda 2023. The 5 Bunches are only awarded to wines that border on perfection: thus our Maìa. The Bibenda Guide of the FIS (Italian Sommeliers Foundation) is among the most important at the national and international levels. It has now surpassed 25 editions and remains one of the most eagerly awaited and followed guides by experts, wine enthusiasts, the press and sector operators.
