This wine comes from a clonal selection of the Aglianico del Cilento grape, a clone dispersed over the years that the company wanted to recover. This grape variety has a small, sparse bunch and great phenolic richness of the skins.

Colour

Ruby with purple reflections and fine texture.

Bouquet

Notes of blackberry, black mulberry and currant, followed by mace, tobacco, ink and cinchona hints.

Flavour

Closing with balsamic notes. The wine is soft and pleasant in the opening, then the palate is shaken by vigorous tannins, but with an elegant progression. Finally, the wine is balanced with a good potential for further ageing.
