Rocca di Frassinello Merlot Baffonero 2019

Baffonero takes its name from the vineyard of the same name, 100% Merlot, one of the first planted at Rocca di Frassinello. This winery benefited from being born as a joint venture between Castellare di Castellina and Domaines Baron de Rothschild-Lafite, the most famous Maison in the world. The Baffonero vineyard is at the foot of the winery, designed by Renzo Piano, with perfect exposure.

Colour

Deep ruby red.

Bouquet

Fruity with aromas reminiscent of various black fruits, in particular blackberries, blueberries and vanilla. In the glass, the aromatic component changes, evolving towards tobacco, chocolate and a slight hint of coffee.

Flavour

Complexity can be perceived. Full-bodied and robust with a freshness that makes it long and pleasant.

Pairing

It is recommended with equally structured foods such as red meat stews and game, as well as with spicy cheeses.
