A Franciacorta that seeks harmony and balance in wine alone and in its long evolution in contact with yeasts, without the external 'help' of dosage. A portrait of Gualberto Ricci Curbastro, one of the first to believe in the Franciacorta appellation in 1967 and the architect of the winery's recent history.

	Perlage Abundant, fine and persistent.
	Colour Bright yellow.
	Bouquet Fresh and sweet fruit, peach, orange, melon, crossed by a nice mineral vein and more almonds, dried fruit and hints of bread.
	Flavour A mouthfeel of great freshness, voluminous entry, and good creaminess. The fine acid vein is supported by a structure equal to the task. Excellent persistence.

Excellent as an aperitif with starters, crudités and shellfish, pasta with seafood or shellfish, and baked fish.

Vinification	The temperature-controlled fermentation in steel tanks and a small part in oak barrels is followed in spring by a slow refermentation in the bottle according to the traditional Franciacorta method. The bottles remain in the stack for at least 60 months (total from the harvest 68 months), guaranteeing the unmistakable bouquet due to contact and autolysis of the yeasts. After disgorging, with the addition of a liqueur d'expedition, the Gualberto undergoes further ageing in the cellar for a few months.
