Costamiòle is produced from the vineyards in the Agliano Terme area, a place where Barbera best expresses itself thanks to a favourable southern exposure, ideal for this grape variety. This wine can maintain the grape’s extraordinary freshness and aromatic qualities in small oak barrels.

Fruity with notes of plums and cherries that merge with hints of violets, cinnamon, cacao, and leather.

Origin	Costamiòle Vineyard in Agliano Terme (Asti).
Soil composition	Very light-coloured clay rich in calcareous marls.
Fermentation temperature	No higher than 30 °C (86 °F).
Vinification	Once in the wine factory, the grapes are destemmed and crushed. Two pump-overs are performed daily at a temperature no higher than 30°C to ensure optimal extraction during maceration.
Ageing	12 months in new French oak barrels. Costamiòle is aged a further year in the bottle before marketing.
