Poggio di Sotto Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 2018
So varied and complex that it is really necessary to take the time to discover this diamond among Tuscan wines. Initially, one can smell notes of wild herbs, cedar wood, raisins, ginger and mint. Over time, notes of prunes, tobacco and chocolate develop. Very fine on the palate with silky tannins. Despite its aromatic density, it is extremely delicate and fresh. Still very young-tasting. It is absolutely necessary to decant it for a while before drinking it or to let it sleep for some time in one's cellar.

Colour

Ruby mantle tending to garnet, of vivid brightness.

Bouquet

The nose does not whisper, it screams territory, with notes of cherries and dog rose, violet, blood orange, mint, iodine and a touch of Honduran tobacco.

Flavour

Impactful mouth, it has structure to sell and elegance at the same time, rich as it is with velvety tannins, brilliant freshness and sapid notes. Long and balsamic persistence.

Pairing

Steak Florentine, fillet steak, dishes with truffles or morels.
