Planeta Nero d'Avola Santa Cecilia 2020
Santa Cecilia is made of the most important Sicilian grape variety, Nero d’Avola. Long research into finding the best place to produce a great wine from this grape brought the company to the town of Noto, where the DOC Noto variety originates, located at the Southern extremity of Sicily. With its white soils and its ancient vines, this is the epicentre of cultivation for Nero d’Avola.

Colour

Ruby red with some first garnet reflections.

Bouquet

Aroma of leather, wet grass, carob and ferrous notes.

Flavour

Deep, compact, and structured, the ripe fruit and balsamic notes on the palate dissolve in a sweet and vigorous manner to accompany tannins of dense texture.

Pairing

It pairs well with marinated pork meat with chilli pepper or savoury fish dishes.
