Planeta Burdese 2018
In the local dialect Burdese means Bordeaux and refers to the classic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. It is a red wine of great density, structure and balance, produced in limited quantities from selected vineyards. This Burdese is a great wine for ageing that offers various aromas and flavours from the Sicilian sun.

Colour

Deep ruby red.

Bouquet

Notes of blueberry and sour cherries in alcohol mingle with leather while intense aromas of cherries, cocoa, iodine and rosemary gradually emerge.

Flavour

Powerful, with a good tannic structure and balanced alcohol content. Notes of ripe fruit and dense in the pulp.

Pairing

Perfect with stewed dishes, game, and meats. It also pairs with veggies such as grilled radicchio, aged cheeses or roasted onions.
