Nicodemi Montepulciano Abruzzo Le Murate 2021
Montepulciano is the wine we have been producing since 1977. With the 2014 harvest we chose to produce it with the Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Colline Teramane DOCG denomination as an authentic testimony of the link between a territory and its grape variety. "Le Murate", an ancient hamlet of Notaresco, is born from the selection of grapes from our old Abruzzo pergola vineyards of the early 1970s and vineyards that are about 15 years younger.

Colour

Intense ruby.

Bouquet

Nose of black cherries, blackberries and currants at first sight, then rose petals and a slight aroma of black pepper.

Flavour

The tannin is soft and the wine is voluminous on the palate. Savouriness perfectly melted in the structure with a sour note to make it fresh and long.

Pairing

Excellent with seasoned cheeses, and first courses with strong condiments such as meat sauce, amatriciana and carbonara. To accompany roasts and grilled meat.
