Montevertine Le Pergole Torte Magnum 2020
The first vintage released was the 1977. It was the first 100% Sangiovese wine to be produced in the Radda in Chianti area. The grapes come from our oldest vineyards, planted between 1968 and 1999. It is aged for one year in Allier barriques and one year in Slavonian oak barrels.

Colour

Dark and compact to the eye.

Bouquet

Captivating aromas of black cherries and sour cherries also in jam, withered flowers, hot spices, star anise, vanilla and china tobacco.

Flavour

Balanced and structured also to the taste, with elegant tannins and excellent fresh-savory correspondence. Long and fruity persistence.

Pairing

Great for roasts and red meats, grilled poultry, game, cheeses.
