This wine is obtained from Arneis grapes, vinified and aged in steel. Arneis is an indigenous Piedmontese white grape variety. The most typical zone for Arneis is Roero, a hilly area northwest of Alba. Arneis is experiencing a moment of great popularity and quality recognition with the creation of the DOCG in 2006. Arneis del Roero is characterised by its minerality, freshness and intensity of aromas.

Fruity and floral, notes of acacia, green apple, peach and apricot.

Flavour

A tasty, mineral, persistent wine. Good acidity and balanced structure.

Pairing

Arneis is a wine for the whole meal, it goes very well with pasta and risotto dishes, barbecues, fish, seafood, shellfish, white meat and spicy sauces. During the summer, it is an excellent apéritif wine.
