Complex nose of currant, cassis, fur, leather and vanilla.

Flavour

Exceptional in the mouth, a real gustatory cyclone, with a robust body and good softness. A great wine with tannins already integrated, but which still has great potential.

Pairing

For the whole meal it goes well with rich dishes of filled pasta and all kinds of meat preparations. Ideal with braised venison in blueberry compote.

Soil composition Well drained relatively thin top soil composed of marls and rock fragments rich in iron oxides, on a calcareous mother rock.
Vinification 100% destemmed bunches, seven days of cold maceration, two "pigeage" a day at the start of the alcoholic fermentation, then pump-overs during maceration for a gentle extraction.
Ageing 20 months in French oak barrels, 30% new. No fining, no filtration.
