Los Vascos Sauvignon 2015

Los Vascos’ Sauvignon Blanc is made from grapes purchased on long term contracts with growers in the Casablanca and Curicó regions. The vintages all offer very pure fruit and a lively, refreshing palate.

Colour

Yellow colour with glints of green.

Bouquet

The nose offers a range of aromas from plant notes of fresh grass, chives, boxwood, asparagus, and lemon verbena, to fruit notes of lychee, pear, pineapple, and green apple.

Flavour

Fresh mouthfeel with delicate acidity and good length.

Pairing

It is perfect as an aperitif, but to experience its full potential, serve with seafood or a salad.

Climate	A spring with little rain and warm temperatures that gradually increased towards the summer kept the vines in good health and promised a good quality harvest. The absence of frost during the spring ensured an excellent bud break, flowering and setting of the fruit. The grapes ripened slowly, which fostered balanced acidity and optimal concentration of sugar.
Soil composition	The land is composed of clayish-sandy soils and granite soils.
Harvest	The grapes were hand-picked very early in the morning to preserve their flavours and aromas. The harvests started in Casablanca, continued in the Colchagua Andes and ended in the Leyda Valley.

Pairing	It is perfect as an aperitif, but to experience its full potential, serve with seafood or a salad.
