It is one of the oldest companies of propriètaire-rècoltant of the cote de blancs, founded in 1899 by Jules Larmandier. After the Great War, it succeeded in retaining a considerable clientele despite the fact that the market at the time was not used to champagnes produced by small owners. He had understood that he had to focus on his strong point: the great crus of chardonnay. Since then, the most representative champagne of the company became the Brut Perlè. His son Philippe expanded the size of the company by buying about twenty hectares in Cramant. Since 1987 the style of the maison Larmandier is carried out by his daughter, Francoise Larmandier married in Gimmonet: the sons of Francoise, Olivier and Didier Gimmonet perpetuate the Larmandier philosophy from that year, producing only champagne blanc de blancs.
