Bouquet

Flavours of dark plum, blackberry nectar and aromatic herbs, enriched by coffee and cocoa.

Flavour

Dense but fresh in the opening, with noble and powerful tannins combined with lovely lingering violet perfume. The final is long and clean with mineral notes exalting its vivacity, power and clearness.

Harvest	Late October, when grapes have reached phenolic maturity with a good sugar-acid balance.
Vinification	Maceration and fermentation for about 30 days in open conical Slavonian oak vats.
Ageing	Malolactic conversion and subsequent ageing partly in barriques, partly in tonneaux and partly in the same fermentation vats for about 18 months. Racking and bottling, during the most suitable lunar phase, without filtration, a year before marketing.
