Location In the small hamlet of Pochi above Salorno, at 400 m altitude, the farms of the Hausmannhof farm, erected to dominate the expanses of vineyards that degrade downstream to Salorno, the course of the Adige and the motorway to the other side Of the valley, Cortaccia and Termeno and then, further south, to the lands of Trentino and the peaks of the Brenta massif. This ancient estate is the heart of our wine-growing company. Among its walls, the home of our family, our wines are aging, some of which have undergone a process of sparkling. Kissed by the sun, the vineyards, facing southwest, grow lush on these clayey and muddy soils. The Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Nero grapes, extending to a total area of ​​5.5 hectares, mature in fact just outside the home. The wines of these lands with the image of the rose on the label are the basic varieties of our wine production while the bottles that depict our Hausmannhof are reserved for selections, wines obtained from our best grapes, wines characterized by a long aging in Wooden barrels and can keep intact for years.
Composition of the land At the beginning of the new millennium we took the Obermairlhof over Chius in the Isarco Valley. 2.9 ha expand to a height between 620 and 700 m. Grounds under the humus layer are perennial morainic soils with quartz parts and shingles and granites. Here grow Riesling, Sylvaner, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Grigio and Müller-Thurgau. A Cuvée Obermairlhof with a particular winemaking shows the potential of a vulture. In addition, the three types of monovoligni wines reflect the mineral character of the wines of the Isarco Valley.
