Taurasi Riserva is made from the grapes of the highest section of the vineyard of Aglianico of the Fonzone estate, on top of a hill in the district of Scorzagalline in the municipality of Paternopoli.

Brilliant ruby red.

Bouquet

Great complexity and finesse, with intense notes of black berries and dried flowers, which are accompanied by hints tertiary such as tobacco, leather, licorice and sandalwood.

Vinification	Grapes are harvested by hand and placed in perforated boxes, rushed to the nearby wine cellar and meticulously de-stemmed. The fermentation and maceration take place in stainless steel tanks for a period of 15-20 days.
Ageing	Subsequently, after the first racking and the start of malolactic fermentation, the wine is transferred in new French oak barrels, where it stays for 18 months.
