Emilio Moro Malleolus 2020
The word "Malleolus" come from the latin and traslates to "majuelo" (small and old vineyard), a way of referring to the small and old plots in Pesquera de Duero that families used to make wine. To produce tihis wine, we selected grapes from vines between 25 and 75 years old, trained both in bush and trellis form.

Colour

Intense cherry red color very covered.

Bouquet

Aromatic palette, of great complexity and harmony, is starred by Tempranillo varietals with the unique personality of our oldest vines and the nuances of such a special vintage.

Flavour

In the palate it has a great presence, of great volume and silky tannin. The balance between the acidity, the alcohol and the structure is the main protagonist in this wine. Long and persistent after-taste.

Pairing

Meat
Cheese
Matured cheese
Pork

Perhaps it's the altitude of between 750 and 1000 metres above sea-level that gives this land its marked character and temperament, or maybe its the variety in its soils of chalk, loam and clay, along with the local climate, that produces unique plan...
