Made from grapes cultivated in the Suor Marchesa Estate, Triskelè is a refined blend of two highly different but complementary varieties, Nero d’Avola and Merlot. A harmonic blend that engenders a red with an assertive personality, elegant and enduring, perfectly expressing the terroir it comes from.

Colour

Deep, ruby red with garnet reflections.

Bouquet

Complex, intense and spicy, with clear sensations of morello cherry and vanilla.

Flavour

Warm, velvety well-bodied and aromatically persistent.

Especially recommended with dishes of red meat and aged cheeses.

Climate Altitude: 290-340 m. a.s.l. Mild winters with cool springs, hot and very dry summers and autumns.
Soil composition Mixed composition, calcareous-siliceous.
Cultivation system Espalier and head-training, with high planting densities and low yields per hectare.
Harvest By hand, at perfect ripeness from mid-September to early October depending on variety.
Vinification Traditional, separate destemming and maceration for eight to twelve days at 28 - 30°C. Blending of wines once malolactic fermentation ended.
Ageing For at least 10-12 months in very fine-grained oak barriques. After bottling, the wine rests 10 -12 months in temperature-controlled cellars to develop the bouquet.
