Origin The appellation is located on the left bank of the Rhone, between Orange and Avignon.
Climate Mediterranean type with particularly hot summers. The Mistral wind blows humidity, ensuring conditions quite favorable for growing vines.
Soil composition The soil is characterized by large pebbles which store heat from the sunshine of Provence during the day and return at night. The pebbles height is 2 meters; below, there is a clay bank where the roots of the vines draw their water needs: an exceptional terroir.
Harvest Harvest is manual, with selective sorting of the grapes.
Vinification After complete de-stemming, fermentation for 15-20 days of maceration for maximum extraction of tannins. Once the malolactic fermentation is completed, half of the assembly is raised in the Burgundy barrel (228 l), the other part being kept in tanks. After a selection of our best wines for bottling to the area, the wines are grouped into a single assembly. The setting takes place 18 months after harvest.
Ageing Once bottled wines rest at least 4-6 months in our cellar.
Allergens Contains sulphites
