The Recioto takes its name from the racemes, the small bunches called "recie" that are located on the sides of the cluster, as well as the ears... Recioto della Valpolicella is a sweet red passito wine DOCG produced exclusively from native vines such as Corvina, Corvinone (up to 50% to replace Corvina), Rondinella but also in smaller percentages with Forselina, Negrara and Oseleta, sometimes Molinara. These are the same grapes that are used for the production of Amarone.

Incipit balsamic and ethereal, followed by sour cherries in alcohol, wild herbs, spice bread, licorice gummy, almond and carob.

Flavour

Dense and captivating, sweet and soft without being lechious. Acid punctuation and red fruit jams mark the finish.

Pairing

Great alone, or while enjoying pleasant conversation after a meal. It pairs beautifully with blue cheeses.
