Dom Ruinart Champagne Rosé Brut 2009
The history of Ruinart Rosé has been written since the 18th century. Although we are now 250 years removed from the creation of the rosé champagne from the Maison Ruinart, excellence, a fundamental value, continues to characterise the production of this delicate wine.

Perlage

Lively, fine and persistent.

Colour

Garnet pink with slight orange reflections.

Bouquet

The nose is fresh and delicate with aromas of exotic fruits (guava, lychee) and small red fruits (raspberry, cherry, wild strawberry). Notes of rose and pomegranate complete the wine's complex and intense aromatic profile.

Flavour

On the palate, the opening is distinct and full, lulled by a sweet effervescence. The aromas of freshly picked berries are fully expressed. The balance combines a delicious freshness and a voluptuous body, expressed by an elegant refreshing touch of mint and pink grapefruit.

Pairing

It pairs well with savoury hams, such as Parma and San Daniele hams. As a starter, a seared salmon or prepared Japanese style in 'tataki' will reveal its many facets. For the main course, it could be paired with a leg of suckling lamb or a fillet of veal cooked at a low temperature.
