This is a wine obtained from an ancient grape variety beloved by the Popes, which was already cultivated in Italy in 200 B.C. under the names Apicia, Apicius or Apianae - according to Columella and the other Georgics. A sweet wine with a Muscat flavour can be obtained from this variety.

Colour

Bright, pale gold yellow with amber reflections.

Bouquet

Fresh and intense with characteristic hints of orange flowers and zagara honey.

Flavour

A rich wine with a strong Moscato flavour, with distinct sugary residues but a dry aftertaste.

Pairing

An ideal wine to be enjoyed by itself. It pairs well with pâté de foie gras, sweets and aged cheeses.
