Cordero San Giorgio

Tenuta San Giorgio is located 250 meters of altitude, on the hill of Santa Giuletta. Its vineyards extend uniformly for about 22 hectares. The vineyard consists of mainly old vines, with an average age of 40 years, cultivated in a sustainable way and with low environmental impact.

The soil of Tenuta San Giorgio is particularly suited to the varieties of the area, such as Pinot Grigio, Croatina, Barbera, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, indisputably the noblest grape of Oltrepò.

Overlooking the vineyards are the centuries-old forest that remains intact, as precious as it is essential for the well-being of the land and the ecosystem.

Tenuta Cordero San Giorgio can count on the international experience and know-how of its owners, whose wine expertise has matured thanks to studying new techniques and styles in New Zealand, the United States, and France. During their time abroad, the owners of Tenuta Cordero San Giorgio have learned to improve the vinification process, gain a better awareness about sustainable wine production and, most importantly, appreciate the art and the science of making wine.
