||Typically Mediterranean with mild winters, limited rainfall and very hot and windy summers. Altitude: a few metres above sea level.
||Alluvial, sandy, slightly clayey
||Adult vines are bush-trained, espalier (guyot and spurred cordon).
||Follows the traditional white winemaking process with soft pressing and fermentation at controlled temperature.
||Matured in traditional oak and chestnut wood caratelli barrels for at least 4 years. The barrels are not topped up to allow the characteristic layer of Flor yeast to form and give the wine the distinctive aromas and flavours of Vernaccia di Oristano.
||As an aperitif wine. Best with bottarga based dishes. As a dessert-style wine to go with almond based sweets.
