||Pinot Noir comes to Italy thanks to Count Carlo Vistarino around 1,850, who imported the barbatelle directly from Burgundy. Cascina Pernice is one of the most popular sites for this vine in the estate of Rocca de 'Giorgi. The vineyard extends over 3.5 hectares of vines, exposed at noon to 300 meters of altitude.
