Cogno Barolo Bricco Pernice 2012
Inspired in the name of the jug on which the partridges build their nests in love, Barolo Bricco Pernice is the latest in home Cogno: the result of much hard work, years and years of work, a desire that has now become reality. The project already Elvio imagined and now Walter is finally realized: the best vineyard Novello, in the most historic of the cru Ravera, high vocation for the Barolo and the exceptional microclimate. Barolo Bricco Pernice, Elvio Cogno continuation of the story begun in La Morra, is part of the "Reserve of Elvio" as the highest expression of all the teachings of the great technical and stylistic master, Papa Elvio. A special feature of Barolo Bricco Pernice is the softness, both capable of detecting all the allure and power of Bricco Ravera. The graphics of the label represents Bricco Partridge the artistic evolution of his daughter Elena, who now interprets this wine, as did the age of 3 years, the label dedicated to her Barolo, Vigna Elena.
