Excellent structure with typical Barbera aromas produced in the Barolo area with hints of red fruits and flowers. It is an open and intense wine with excellent suitability for ageing.

Bright deep ruby.

Bouquet

Captivating in its aromas of black cherries, sour cherries, fleshy roses and pine needles. Finally, it is punctuated by delicate spicy hints.

Flavour

The flavour is fleshy and rich, with a lively acid backbone that lingers in the persistence of the fruit on silky tannins.

Pairing

It pairs well with cold meats, first courses, grilled red meat, and hard or aged cheeses.

Vinification Complete destemming of the grapes. Fermentation only with indigenous yeasts. Traditional fermentation with the semi-submerged cap with punching down and pumping over. Controlled fermentation temperature of 29°C on indigenous yeasts. Total maceration time: 12-18 days. Malolactic fermentation in concrete tanks in the spring following the harvest.
Ageing 24 months in 20-30-50 hl Slavonian oak barrels. After bottling, the wine was aged in the company's cellars for at least 6 months before being marketed.
