Catena Zapata Adrianna Vineyard White Bones Chardonnay 2020

For more than four generations, the Catena family has cultivated vines in the foothills of the Andes in Mendoza, Argentina. In his quest to make wines that stand with the best in the world, Nicolás Catena has identified the best plots and rows in the vineyards owned by the Catena family. The Adrianna vineyard is located at an altitude of almost 5,000 metres in the Gualtallary sub-district of the Tupungato region. The White Bones Chardonnay comes from selected rows within plot 1 of the Adrianna vineyard. The name refers to the soil beneath these rows, which is layered with limestone and limestone deposits and fossilised animal bones - remains of a river that passed through the region.
