Vermentino, which has a unique varietal expression in this area with spicy and floral notes, is the most common among the white grape varieties in Bolgheri, where white grape production is still very limited (about 10%).

Colour

Bright yellow, nealy paper white with soft green reflections.

Bouquet

Fresh and fragrant wine with intense aromatic notes of citrus fruits like grapefruit and floral aromas, typical of the variety.

Flavour

Nice, fruity taste with mineral freshness offering great balance and persistence to the wine.

Pairing

Great with starters based on fish and shellfish as well as risotto and pasta with seafood. Recommended with all kinds of fish (crudité, baked or grilled, also with sushi). A perfect match also with white meats like chicken and turkey.
