The etymology of the name refers to a geographical indication, in fact designating an ancient area of the city of Matelica. Petrara looks like an evolved wine, with an important maturation; the grapes it comes from are South facing and enjoy therefore a greater exposure to sunlight.

Colour

Light green flashes on light gold.

Bouquet

Typical olfactory profile outlined by fruity traces of medlar and plum, fresh almond, mimosa and chamomile flowers, wild fennel on flint.

Flavour

In the mouth reigns the fresh savory progression that dominates the unexpected glyceric strength. Long persistence closure entirely played on the smoky mineral notes.
