Blain-Gagnard Chassagne Montrachet Blanc 1er Cru Morgeot 2022
The 'Morgeot' is a white wine, rich with aromas and flavours of ripe yellow apple, peach and lemon. Occasionally, a red fruit note can be perceived in Morgeot, such as red apple or berry. 30% of ageing in new barrels adds notes of vanilla and toast.

Colour

Pale straw yellow.

Bouquet

Intense and complex, with hints of marzipan and vanilla.

Flavour

Ample and very rich, with almond notes and a remarkably fresh finish.

Pairing

Thanks to its rich texture and roasted flavours, it pairs well with white fish and shellfish. Moreover, its high natural acidity can counterbalance cream-based sauces. It pairs well with grilled fish, starches, butter and roasted nuts.
