Balter Trento Pas Dosé Metodo Classico Riserva 2016

This wine is only from a 30-year-old pergola that, in the best years, the grapes are drawn from during the harvest to create the Chardonnay base for the Riserva Balter. The Pinot Noir combined in the first vinification phase gives complexity that allows great expressiveness at the end of the long maturation on the lees.

	Bouquet An enchanting bouquet of tropical and yellow-fleshed fruit, hazelnut, rock salt, white pepper and lasting memories of pastry.
	Flavour The palate is responsive and has just the right amount of warmth, where freshness and flavour play a decisive role in enriching the refined drink.

Soil composition	Morainic origin, it shows a good presence of skeleton on calcareous rocks. The texture is medium-textured with a good supply of clay; organic fertilisation every four years is the only natural integration intervention.
Harvest	By hand, with small crates.
Vinification	Fermentation partly in stainless steel, and partly in small oak barrels.
Ageing	The cuvée is obtained by blending Chardonnay and Pinot noir wines, at least one-quarter of which have aged in small oak barrels. Refermentation takes place using the traditional classic method. Disgorgement is carried out after the wine has matured in contact with the yeasts for at least 60 months.
